ABOUT ME

Here's a bit about me!

It all started down in the ATL…

I grew up in the Peach State of Georgia, originally starting out in the dance world where I learned ballet from the late, great Joan Kall Stewart. However, after starting to play more theatrical parts in my recitals and performances (such as Mother Mouse in The Nutcracker and Crutchy in Newsies), I transitioned from dance to musical theatre once I began high school. There, I fell in love with theatre and all it encompassed, and the rest is history!

I moved to New York City…

I then completed my B.F.A in Musical Theatre at Marymount Manhattan College and picked up a minor in Communication and Media Arts because I had enjoyed the film classes I enrolled in so much! I learned how to swing various characters and understudy principal roles by being cast in First Daughter Suite (directed by Brandon Logan) and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella (directed by Todd Buonopane); processes that were difficult, but were exceptionally enlightening and fulfilling.

And as for me…

I love all forms of entertainment. Ask me for a movie or music recommendation and I got you!

I’m a girl who listens to all kinds of music, so I have the ability to flip from genres like traditional musical theatre to an indie folk sound, to a rock ‘n roll pop sound. Because I am a very audio-based person, not only does this mean that I am most likely listening to music throughout most of my day, but I can learn new music very quickly.
